As The World Turns

It seems like money makes the world go round
And everybody wanna make it till the sun go down
Crime increases as the hustler mentality places
A thought process, only a gunshot replaces

The dreams a cat be chasin' and the situations we facin'
Is enough to cause a heart attack or leave a mind racin'
Plus the people up in power start to lack originality
To lead so they use the thoughts of thug brutality

It's a crazy world we livin' in, a shady we spittin' in
Bullets fall like rain in the safe places our kids are in
And schools shoot out fools in the pools of politics
And the same selfish sucka's who built the system follow t

Our leaders are stuck up, but the people just shut up
Like little puppets on a string, Harper's pullin' with his ring
Of promises, to lies, and deceit as we face defeat
Mentally cuz physically we have this pathetic liar beat

We lack the mindset to make a change
And when we try to act the law holds us down in chains
But that's life, still with all those growing pains
And death is just the blessing that removes the pain

But the question still remains, who's the one to blame
Or is the answer found in how many lives are claimed
Regardless of how we think man our actions stay the same
And as history repeats the world turns again
